There are 1,189 chapters within the 66 books of the Bible. We’re here to help break it down. It shouldn’t take a seminary degree to know and love God’s word.

Each chapter summary is 500 words or shorter + captures the chapter’s significant events.

Although these overviews are helpful, they are not fully comprehensive. There is always more to discover in God’s word!

Each overview includes a quick synopsis of the book as well as key verses and main ideas.

For each book, we have highlighted a unique characteristic of God and the book’s relationship to Jesus. The entire Bible is one big story and it all points to Jesus - we’re here to help you find him on every page.

READING PLANS + STUDY QUESTIONS

For further study, these reading plans + discussion plans are designed for small group conversations or individual reflection.

Each study varies in length, but covers the entirety of the book. This study encourages going at your own pace, allowing each session to be a day, a week, or however long you need.

These studies are best used alongside the chapter summaries, but the most important aspect of these studies is reading God’s word + opening up your Bible.
