THE APPOINTED HEBREW FESTIVALS 

God gives Moses instructions for seven sacred days and festivals to remember God's provision and holiness.

  • Sabbath – Weekly day of rest

  • Passover – Annual, followed immediately by the Feast of Unleavened Bread

  • Feast of Firstfruits – Annual, offering the first of the harvest to God

  • Feast of Weeks (also known as Pentecost) – Annual

  • Feast of Trumpets (also known as Rosh Hashanah) – Annual

  • Day of Atonement (also known as Yom Kippur) – Annual

  • Feast of Booths (also called Feast of Tabernacles or Ingathering) – Annual
