THE CLOUD BY DAY + FIRE BY NIGHT 

God gives Moses instructions for honoring the annual Passover celebration. For anyone who is unclean or ill during the Passover, they are allowed to celebrate one month later.

God’s presence covers the tabernacle in the form of a cloud during the day and fire during the night as a reminder of God’s provision for the Israelites in the wilderness from Exodus 13. The Israelites closely follow the cloud and the fire, wanting to follow the direction of God’s presence.
