OFFERINGS FOR THE DEDICATION OF THE TEMPLE 

The Gershonites and the Merarites are given oxen and wagons to help carry the tabernacle, but the Kohathites carry the holy items with poles on their shoulders. 

The leader of each tribe, starting with Judah and moving around the camp clockwise, brings a grain offering, burnt offering, sin offering, and peace offering to the dedication of the tabernacle. 

Moses hears God speak to him from the mercy seat, the place of God’s presence above the ark of the covenant between the wings of the cherubim.
