LEVITICUS 11

LAWS FOR CLEAN + UNCLEAN FOOD

God gives Moses instructions to share with the Israelites regarding food laws and clean and unclean animals. They are not allowed to eat animals that have died on their own, possibly because they carry illness or disease. 

Leviticus 11:44 - For I am the Lord your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy.
